Our Prayers

Whole school and class masses  are celebrated regularly in Church and all Holy Days of Obligation which occur in term time are observed. All the children are offered the opportunity to  participate at Mass and in Liturgy in school. Whole school and class masses occur regularly, with dates shared in our newsletters, on our website and in the Parish bulletin -parents and parishioners are always very welcome to attend any of our celebrations.

There is daily worship in school, either in the form of class prayers, whole school or Key Stage assembly or Mass. The children pray together four times each day and the prayer life of the school is a strong and organic feature of the family community we strive to create.. The children learn the traditional prayers of the Catholic church as well as participating in spontaneous  prayer.

Prayer and liturgy is essential for nurturing spiritual growth, building our community  and integrating faith into daily life. Children are helped to develop a personal relationship with God. Parents know that when choosing a Catholic school emphasis is placed on Liturgy

On this page you will find all of the prayers that your child will be saying at their time at school.

Please take time to talk about them with your children and share them with them as often as you can.

Our school prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to be the person you call me to be today.

Guide me to do the right thing and follow our school values

in all that I do.

St Patrick, pray for us.

Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Pray for us.

Let us grow and work together knowing that God is with us in all we do.

Amen
